Terms of use
By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice. They are short on purpose.
Who may register
You must be 16 or older, and you may connect only mailboxes you are entitled to use. If a mailbox belongs to your employer, make sure its rules allow it.
Your mail stays yours
V Mail reads and sorts the mail you connect, and sends mail only when you tell it to. It does not claim any right to your messages. You can disconnect a mailbox or ask for your account and the copies kept for it to be deleted at any time.
What you agree not to do
- send spam, or bulk mail to people who did not ask for it;
- use the service to break the law, to harass anyone or to spread malware;
- try to reach another person's mail or data, or to overload or probe the server;
- share your sign-in with others.
Mail you send has to follow the law that applies to it: if it is marketing, the people who receive it must have agreed to it, and it must say who sends it and let them unsubscribe.
Availability
The service is provided as it is. It is looked after with care, but it can be down, change, or lose data; keep your mail at your provider, which is where it lives. Anything it summarises or drafts for you can be wrong: read the message before you act on it.
Ending
You can stop at any time. An account that breaks these terms may be suspended. When an account is deleted, what is kept for it is deleted too.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the version above changes and you are asked to accept them again.
