Email in 2050 reads itself. Yours can today.

V Mail reads every message as it arrives, on top of the mailboxes you already have, work and personal side by side, and keeps in view only what needs you: a reply, a task, a decision. Everything else can wait.

Waiting on you 3 of 17 new messages today

thread /θrɛd/ noun

  1. A thin strand of fibre, used for sewing.
  2. A connected series of messages.
  3. A continuous theme running through something.

V Mail does all three.

It sews every reply to the message it answers, keeps the conversation in the order it happened, and follows the matter running through it into the rest of your mail.

  • 1Sewn together. A reply finds its conversation even when the subject turns into “Odg:”, “AW:” or something new, and when the answer comes to another of your mailboxes.
  • 2In the order it happened. The newest message on top, the ones before it folded underneath, one tap to open.
  • 3The theme, followed. One summary for the whole conversation, and mail about the same matter from the same people right beside it.

New mail, the moment it lands.

A notification with the sender and subject, even when V Mail is closed.

A letter used to be something you open.

  1. 1840The envelope. Sealed, opened by hand, one at a time.
  2. 1971The first email. The envelope becomes a line of text.
  3. 2010The inbox. Everything at once, all of it unread.
  4. 2030Glass. Every message already read, and only what needs you stays in view.

Your mail stays in your mailbox.

V Mail keeps only what it needs to search and sort. Messages and attachments open straight from Gmail, iCloud or your company’s server, and nothing there is changed or deleted.

Security

Secure by design, not by promise.

A mailbox holds contracts, invoices and everything personal. V Mail is built so that what is in it stays yours.

  • Encrypted on the way. HTTPS with HSTS to V Mail, TLS to your mail server.
  • Two-factor sign-in. A code from any authenticator app, with one-time recovery codes. Each code works once.
  • Secrets locked away. Your password is stored only as a scrypt hash; mailbox passwords and tokens are encrypted with AES.
  • Mail cannot run code. Every message opens in a sandbox where scripts never run, and remote images load only as you choose.
  • Walled off. Every account's mail is kept apart from everyone else's, and repeated wrong sign-ins are slowed down.
  • Stays in your mailbox. Nothing in Gmail, iCloud or your company server is changed or deleted.

Work and life

Made for work. At home in your life.

The company mailbox and the personal one in one inbox, each in its own colour and with its own signature, never mixed up.

  • Waiting on you. The replies, approvals and tasks that need you, out of hundreds of messages a day.
  • Smart threading. Mail about the same client, order or project joins the thread it belongs to, even when the subject changes.
  • Replies in your voice. Drafts written the way you write, in the language of the conversation.
  • The office, handled. Out-of-office replies, meetings straight to the calendar, read receipts and a warning before replying to all.

Set up in a few minutes.

Create your account with your e-mail address; a six-digit code confirms it is yours. Then connect the mailbox you already use. Each step explains what it needs.

  1. Your account. Name, e-mail and a password, confirmed with a code we send you.
  2. Your mailbox. Gmail, iCloud and Yahoo with an app password; your company's server by IMAP or POP3. Outlook and Hotmail are coming soon.
  3. Your options. Your name on outgoing mail and notifications on this device.

Or try it first, with sound on:
